While traditional SEO remains a cornerstone of our strategy, we’re also leaning into social media and AI-powered discovery. We doubled our investment in social media last year and we’re leading the exploration of AI on your behalf.

  • Amplified visibility: Leveraging our strong brand recognition, we’re leaning into key seasonal moments, including our Win a Wedding campaign during engagement season, to connect high-intent couples with your business early in their planning journey. Last year, we increased paid social investment by 2.5x, and these channels continue to be a major focus. This year, we’re deepening our influencer strategy with the launch of the Wedding Party Ambassador program, tapping creators who shape real couple planning decisions.
  • AI-powered discovery: As couples increasingly use AI as part of wedding planning, we’re moving quickly into emerging AI-driven channels to meet them where they are. Pros can now be found through The Knot’s ChatGPT app, the wedding industry’s first, and we’re participating in OpenAI’s advertising pilot to create new opportunities for your business to reach high-intent couples who, as early data indicates, are highly engaged and ready to book. Building on our SEO leadership, we’ve achieved top visibility across hundreds of wedding topics in AI-powered search, and we’re continuing to invest to keep your business discoverable as these platforms grow. 
  • Quality matches: Last year, we enhanced Storefront content tools to help vendors showcase what makes their business unique. We also introduced a way for couples to let you know when they’ve gone in a different direction so you can spend time on active leads. On the couple side, we’re using insights about what they care about to surface relevant recommendations, connecting the right couples with the right pros. These investments improve the quality of matches—and there’s more to come this year.

These aren’t just experiments; they are early investments to promote your visibility, both on our platform and beyond, no matter how a couple starts their search or where they are in their planning journey. 

Giving you time-saving tools

We’ve heard from you that managing leads is one of the most critical parts of your business, but we know it’s also the most time-consuming. Our goal is to simplify your workflow and help you quickly assess performance and next steps, so you can spend less time behind a screen and more time on your craft.

  • Convert leads faster on the go: Pros are embracing our rebuilt iOS app, using it 5x more to connect with couples in real time. It’s also helping pros respond to couples 4x faster, creating an immediate connection with leads. And with more features coming soon—including AI-powered response guidance—effective, personalized responses will be easier than ever.
  • Smart automations: We’re expanding Auto Follow-ups across the platform this spring. Early testing shows couples are nearly 40% more likely to respond when vendors use a consistent follow-up cadence, helping ensure no lead falls through the cracks.

Our WeddingPro Social events, which include educational panels and structured networking, kick off in Washington, DC in March and Miami in April, with additional markets to follow.
