WeddingPro Experience DC 2019- Recap & Photos!

We headed to Washington, DC for the WeddingPro Experience DC with The Knot + WeddingWire. The day was all about learning, mingling and inspiring the wedding pro community with some very talented educators. The rustic venue and beautiful rooftop at City Winery DC provided the perfect canvas for this event.

We had so much fun hanging with talented wedding professionals that were eager to learn. Together we learned about the inclusion (r)evolution, how to build and empower a team, how to enhance the client experience and so much more!

Magnolia Bluebird Design + Events planned and designed the WeddingPro Experience DC with fun summer colors that popped, using shades of pink including rose, peach, coral, and magenta. Kaleigh of Méldeen, The Knot Worldwide’s event branding partner, helped create this bright color scheme with pops of white using the on-stage furniture and podium. Together their vision came to life through gorgeous floral arrangements, fun table settings with gold-embroidered plates and tasty bites at the cocktail hour.

• The non-alcoholic beverage bar that helped us kick off the day (Unbuzzed Drinks)
• The Brazilian Sound Trio that eased us into cocktail hour with their smooth jams (EastCoast Entertainment)
• The DIY margarita and specialty cocktail bar (Cocktail Curations)
• The vibrant lunch decor and delicious menu (Sarah Khan Event Styling + Magnolia Bluebird Design + Events + Nuage Designs, Inc.+ City Winery DC)

Attendees heard from industry experts on the following: Tim Chi and Jeffra Trumpower of The Knot Worldwide on Wedding Industry Insights, Kaleigh Wiese of Méldeen on Building a Strategic Brand, Whitney Little of The Knot Worldwide on Social Media Insider Tips, Manolo Doreste of Manolo Doreste Photography on Enhancing the Client Experience, Meghan Ely of OFD Consulting on Being the Buzz, Alan Berg CSP of Wedding Business Solutions LLC on Listening Up and Selling More, Kathryn Hamm of Made By Kathryn on the Inclusion (r)Evolution and Yasmeen Tadia of Make Your Life Sweeter®️ on Building and Empowering a Team. Our attendees got to take tons of notes in their new notebooks (Minted). We left feeling inspired and ready to put what we learned in action. A special thank you to everyone who shared with us and to Jeffra Trumpower for being a wonderful emcee.

We ended the day by getting to know local DC wedding pros. We had so much fun and loved how excited everyone was to be at an education event with their fellow pros. We can’t wait to come back to DC soon!
