The Pro Experience Boston 2019- Recap & Photos!
ByWe headed to Massachusetts for The Knot + WeddingWire The Pro Experience Boston. The day was all about learning, mingling and inspiring the wedding pro community with our talented speakers. The exposed beams and raw space at Artists for Humanity EpiCenter provided the perfect blank canvas for this event.
We had so much fun hanging with talented wedding professionals that were eager to learn. Together we learned strategies to build a strategic brand, how to master reviews, more about connecting with LGBTQ couples and so much more!
Ashley Elaine Events planned and designed The Pro Experience Boston with fun summer colors that popped, primarily using mustard and emerald green with complementing shades of pinks of blues. Kaleigh of Méldeen, The Knot Worldwide’s event branding partner, helped create this bright color scheme and paired it with white signage against a gold background.
Kaleigh of Méldeen, The Knot Worldwide’s event branding partner, helped create this bright color scheme and complemented it with white signage against a gold background. Kaleigh also incorporated geometric shapes into her design. Together their vision came to life through gorgeous floral arrangements (Whitemoss & Twigs), fun table settings with mustard napkins (Nuage Designs, Inc) and sweet favors (Seacoast Sweets) waiting for attendees at their seats. A few more of our favorites from the day included:
- The vibrant floral that popped against the rustic stage backdrop (Whitemoss & Twigs + Peak Event Services)
- The velvet green lounge style furniture (Kadeema Rentals)
- The beautiful art hanging at the venue (Artists for Humanity EpiCenter )
- The coffee bar that helped us kick off the day caffeinated and ready to learn from industry experts (Espresso Dave’s Specialty Coffee )
- The vibrant lunch decor and delicious menu (Ashley Elaine Events + Whitemoss & Twigs + Peak Event Services + Nuage Designs, Inc.+ Gourmet Caterers)

Attendees heard from industry experts on the following: Anja Winikka of The Knot Worldwide on Wedding Industry Insights, Kaleigh Wiese of Méldeen on Building a Strategic Brand, Whitney Little of The Knot Worldwide on Social Media Insider Tips, Meghan Brown of The Knot Worldwide on Becoming a Publishing Rockstar with the Perfect Submission, Desireé Dent of Dejanae Events LLC on How to Master Reviews, Meg Garmers of MG Hair and Makeup on Customer Experience and Jove Meyer of Jove Meyer Events on Radical Authenticity. Our attendees got to take tons of notes in their new notebooks (Minted). We left feeling inspired and ready to put what we learned in action. A special thank you to everyone who shared with us and Anja Winikka for being a wonderful emcee.
We ended the day by getting to know local Boston wedding pros. We had so much fun and loved how excited everyone was to be at an education event with their fellow pros. We can’t wait to come back to Boston soon!
