The Pro Experience Houston 2019- Recap & Photos!
ByWe headed to Texas for The Knot + WeddingWire The Pro Experience Houston. The day was all about our community learning new things about the wedding industry! We are so thankful that Hilton Houston Post Oak hosted our full day of education, networking and endless inspiration.
What’s better than spending the day with around 200 talented wedding professionals? There’s nothing better than being surrounded by pros who are eager to learn new things about the industry to help them run successful businesses. Together we learned new wedding industry trends, marketing beyond inclusivity, marketing with video, networking to build business and closing the sale. Everyone took tons of notes to put into action with their teams.
Stephanie of En Vogue Events teamed up with Kaleigh of Méldeen to play off a spring inspired color palette for the event details. Together their design came to life through dusty rose signage (Méldeen), tons of greenery (Johanna Terry Events), gold charger plates and flatware that popped with the event decor (EB Inc Events + Café Natalie Catering) and stunning shimmery linens (House of Hough). We’re talking being surrounded by a magical forest of trees. A few more of our favorites from the day included:
- The beautiful stage setup with greenery and blush floral (En Vogue Events + Johanna Terry Events)
- Everything about lunch! Think: delicious eats, good conversation, tons of candles and live music (Hilton Houston Post Oak + DANNY RAY and the ACOUSTIC PRODUCTION)
- The fun rentals including bar stools, ghost chairs, chargers, lounge seating and flatware (Johanna Terry Events + EB Inc Events + Café Natalie Catering)
- The headshot bar where pros walked away with a fresh new headshot to update on their Storefront, website and social accounts (Pixel Studio Productions)
- The sweet treat that was at our place-setting (Cakes by Gina)

So many talented wedding pros joined us for the day. Local pros including Clara Hough (House of Hough), Mandy Blissit (Blume Haus), Delcina Hagley (Fabulous Beginnings By Delcina & Co.), Jacqueline Hill (Jacqueline Events & Design), Stephanie Maudsley (En Vogue Events) and Danny Ray (Danny Ray and the Acoustic Production) shared their expertise and experience in the wedding industry.
Attendees also heard from industry experts on the following: Kathryn Hamm of Made By Kathryn on Beyond Inclusive Marketing, Dan Quinn of DQB Entertainment on Networking to Build your Business, Lindsey Conklin of Le Rêve Films on Marketing with Video and Alan Berg, CSP Global Speaking Fellow, Wedding Business Solutions LLC on Listen Up and Sell More. We left feeling inspired and ready to put what we learned in action. A special thank you for everyone who shared with us and Bernadette Baillie for being the best emcee.
We ended the day with networking, cocktails and light bites!
