The Pro Experience Charlotte 2019- Recap & Photos!

We headed to North Carolina for our first The Knot + WeddingWire education event of the year. The Pro Experience Charlotte was everything and more! We are so thankful that The Ballantyne Charlotte hosted our full day of education, networking and endless inspiration.

It was amazing to see around 200 wedding professionals ready to learn and take their business to the next level this year! Together we learned how to master the client experience, tips for surprise and delight moments, closing the sale, marketing beyond inclusivity and ways to improve our social media strategy! Attendees left ready to put what they learned into action.

Erin of Erin Padgett Events teamed up with Kaleigh of Méldeen to create so many spring-inspired details for the day. Together their design came to life through dusty rose signage (Méldeen), a giant balloon arch (Erin Padgett Events ), velvet classroom and lounge seating (AFR Furniture Rental) and stunning linens (Nuage Designs). We’re talking jewel tones everywhere (YAY!). A few more of our favorites from the day included:

• The beautiful stage setup with greenery, balloons and furniture (Erin Padgett Events + Weddings With Barbara (Barbara Pedwell-Dearborn) + Cooke Rentals + AFR Furniture Rental)
• The delicious outdoor lunch (We’re still dreaming about the grits and signature cocktails)  (The Ballantyne Charlotte) 
• The live music during cocktail hour that really set the mood for a good time (Carolina DJ Professionals)
• The headshot bar where pros walked away with a fresh new headshot to update on their storefront, website and social accounts (Amanda Moss Photography)

Attendees got to hear from industry experts on the following: Terrica of Cocktails and Details on Creating an Ideal Client Experience, Meghan Ely of OFD Consulting on The Art of Surprise and Delight, Alan Berg, CSP of Wedding Business Solutions LLC on Listen Up and Sell More, Kathryn Hamm of Made By Kathryn on Beyond Inclusive Marketing. We left feeling inspired and ready to put what we learned in action. A special thank you for everyone who shared with us.

The day ended with lots of networking and donuts. We had so much fun getting to meet new people and catching up with old friends while listening to live music (Carolina DJ Professionals)!
